Alanis Morissette, who is a native of Canada was born on June 1 1974, in Ottawa. Alanis can be described as the female version of Alan the name of her father's initial name. The name of her mother is Georgia and there are two brothers named Chad and Wade (Alanis"Twin"). She first started playing piano and guitar at the age of turned 21.
