Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American singer and actor. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director. She's an American singer and actress. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in the entertainment industry when she was just a teenager. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after going to the first audition. Bell was contacted by an agent by her mother at the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model for newspapers and television commercials. She also started taking private acting classes at that time. Bell played an uncredited part on Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music and drama clubs. The school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Bell went on to study music theatre in the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell quit university in 2001 and began playing the role Becky of Tom Sawyer. In the is the year she made her first credited debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and her character was not shown in the credits sequence. Bell made an appearance together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
