Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California at the 9th day of July, 1983. Following her graduation, her first job was in the real estate business. It was through this that she met her future partner, Tarek El Moussa. The couple was very successful prior to the 2008 crisis in the stock market, during which many real estate investors and house flippers went bust. In the aftermath of the market crash, Tarek and Christina El Moussa nearly lost all their assets. Their house was valued at just $700 per week compared to the $6,000 they had been paying per month for their house. Their business as well as the economy as a whole slowly recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek asked his close associate to record an HGTV audition film in 2011, which featured the duo of him as well as Christina flipping a whole home. Pie Town Productions' executives took possession of the tape. The executives fell in adore with Tarek & Christina. The couple officially signed a contract with HGTV in the year 2012. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April of 2013. Between 2013 and 2017, the show broadcast 92 episode.
